A definite statement piece, this necklace is one of the artist’s favorite. This piece is also derived from a bridge truss just fipped over in order to utilize the chain to create space and shape. In this way the chain becomes an integral part of the design, rather than just a necessary function, the chain is now the aesthetic form.

The artist particularly likes the way that the structural form balanced with the chain, give the piece a feeling of suspended movement. This piece was also based upon truss design, both the metal form and the chain create two different classic designs. Can you find them?

This necklace is inspired by the famous skylight rotunda of the current SFMOMA. The contrasting chain is meant to evoke the same look and feel of the iconic architectural element in the museum, and it is named after it's architect, Mario Botta.

Shapes extrapolated from the SFMOMA’s new expansion inspired this design. The slender and sleek feel of this necklace immediately reminded the artist of a Brancusi sculpture. This particular piece looks great layered or worn as a sleek statement over a simple black sheath.

Inspired by one of the world’s most beloved suspension bridges, an icon of San Francisco architecture, the golden gate bridge has significant personal resonance for the artist and this necklace is one of her personal favorites in the collection. It’s playful look and feel is balanced by an elegant design that is versatile yet always sure to start a conversation or evoke a fond memory.

This necklace was inspired by the architectural renderings of the new SFMOMA expansion. As seen from above, the hand-fabricated silver form represents the main building while the oxidized silver chain is precisely strung to create the shape of the new terraces. Together the silver form and chain create the true footprint of the new building.
